What Claude 1 is good at
This model is retired and no longer available. Anthropic retired claude-1.x on 6 November 2024. Anthropic's own recommended replacement is Claude Haiku 4.5, and that is where this page points.
This page is kept deliberately rather than removed. Search demand for a model does not stop when its successor ships — people still look up Claude 1's pricing and limits long afterwards — and a 404 answers nobody. The pricing and specification figures that were published for this model are no longer maintained here, because a retired model cannot be bought and a stale number is worse than none. For current figures, follow the link to Claude Haiku 4.5.
