Arabic Is a Build Decision, Not a Setting
Models handle Modern Standard Arabic capably. Gulf dialect in a live customer conversation is a different matter, and the gap only shows up in testing with real transcripts rather than sample text.
The interface work is underestimated just as often. Right-to-left layout, mixed Arabic and English in a single sentence, and Arabic-Indic numerals all need handling deliberately. A system that answers correctly but renders badly reads as unfinished, and that judgement is made in the first few seconds.

Settle Data Residency Before Architecture
Where personal data may be processed is often the first hard constraint in a UAE engagement, particularly in financial services and healthcare. It determines which models are available to you and whether processing can happen outside the country at all.
That is an architecture decision, not a procurement detail. Teams that leave it until contracting frequently discover the design they have built assumes a model they are not permitted to use — and reworking that late is expensive. We ask the question in the first conversation.

No — we are an India-based team working with UAE clients remotely, and we would rather say so plainly than imply a presence we do not have. The practical questions that usually sit behind this one are timezone, responsiveness and whether we can be on site when it matters. We are ninety minutes ahead of Gulf Standard Time, so the working day overlaps almost completely, and we travel for the sessions that genuinely need a room.
Can the systems handle Arabic?
Yes, and it needs deliberate testing rather than an assumption. Current models handle Modern Standard Arabic well and are more variable with Gulf dialect, particularly in customer conversations. Right-to-left rendering, mixed Arabic-English text and Arabic numerals all need checking in the interface too — these are the details that get missed until a user sees them.
Where will our data be processed?
Wherever your obligations require, and it should be settled before design rather than after. UAE data protection law and sector rules — particularly in financial services and healthcare — may constrain where personal data can be processed. That decision shapes which models you can use and how the system is built, so we treat it as a design input.
How do you work with a client you cannot meet weekly?
Short cycles with something working at the end of each one. Remote delivery fails when progress is invisible for six weeks and then a demo goes badly. We keep the increments small enough that you always know where things stand, and we would rather show you something incomplete than describe something finished.
